Currier Ives Vintage Money Clip, Rail Shooting

Currier & Ives Vintage Money Clip, Rail Shooting

004-CI-MC-06    $19.95

"Rail Shooting - On the Delaware" This vintage brass Money Clip features a licensed reprint of an iconic Currier & Ives duck hunting  painting. It was made in the USA around 1960, but the factory that made them went out of business and all of their equipment and remaining inventory was recently sold at auction. We bought a mixed lot of money clips and keychains, featuring different iconic Cutter & Ives art. Approximately 2" x 1".

Please note that the item you receive may have some barely noticeable hairline scratches or scuff marks from sitting around in a box unpackaged for all these years.

Currier and Ives was a well known American firm based in New York City from 1835 to 1907. They produced prints from paintings by fine artists as black and white lithographs that were then colored by hand. Their lithographs represented every phase of American life, and included themes of hunting, fishing, city life, rural scenery, historical scenes, ships, yachts, river scenes, railroads, politics, comedy, mining and portraits.
